Product Description

The RECOM RT EC series air supply-extract systems are fully assembled ventilation units ensuring efficient filtration of fresh air, its supply to the premises, and removal of stale air. The heat from the extract air is transferred to the supply air by a rotary heat exchanger, with a recovery efficiency of up to 87%. These units are used in ventilation systems for various types of premises where an economical solution and a controlled ventilation system are required. Thanks to the use of EC motors, electricity consumption is reduced by 1.5-3 times, while ensuring high performance and low noise levels. The RECOM 2 RT EC model is designed for connection with Ø160 mm round ducts and includes an integrated electric heater.

Key Features:

• Casing: Made of galvanized steel, internally insulated with 40 mm thick mineral wool for heat and sound insulation. Servicing is performed from the bottom panel of the unit.
• High-Efficiency Rotary Heat Exchanger: A rotating cylinder filled with layers of corrugated aluminum foil efficiently transfers heat and moisture. Advantages over plate heat exchangers include no condensate formation, maintenance of comfortable air humidity, and good frost resistance. Efficiency ranges from 71% to 87%.
• EC Motors: High-efficiency electronically commutated (EC) motors with an external rotor and centrifugal impeller are used. They are characterized by high performance (up to 90% efficiency) and optimal control across all speed ranges.
• Filtration: The unit is equipped with two filters: extract air is cleaned by a G4 class filter, and supply air is filtered by G4 and F7 class filters. An optional H13 class filter can be used for additional outdoor air filtration.
• Electric Heater: An integrated electric heater automatically activates if heat recovery is insufficient to heat the supply air to the set temperature. It is equipped with safety features for reliable operation.
• Smart Automation: The unit can be controlled via Wi-Fi using the RECOM AHU mobile application. Supports various wired and wireless remote control panels (including LCD). Features include RECOM Cloud Server service, speed control, filter replacement and fault indication, weekly schedule, timer, boost mode, and fireplace function.
• Installation: The unit can be wall-mounted or floor-mounted. Access for maintenance of the unit and filters is provided through the front panel.
