A diffuser connection box performs several important functions: it acts as a plenum, ensuring an even supply of air to the diffuser, and as a mounting element that allows for the stable installation of the diffuser. The correct choice of box depends on the planned airflow, the number of ducts to be connected, and the specific installation requirements.

In our assortment, you will find connection boxes adapted for the REC Flex System:
- Purpose: To securely and airtightly connect flexible REC Flex HDPEA ducts (Ø75mm or Ø90mm) to standard Ø125mm diffusers.
- Variety of Materials: We offer boxes made from different materials to meet your needs:
- PP Plastic (e.g., LDL-P models): Lightweight, durable, and corrosion-resistant boxes with good airtightness.
- Galvanized Steel (e.g., LDL-H models): An extremely sturdy and long-lasting choice.
- Different Numbers of Connections: Depending on the required airflow, you can choose boxes with two (x2) or three (x3) connection spigots for flexible ducts. This allows for an increased volume of supply or extract air to a single point.
- Simple Installation: The design of the boxes is adapted for quick and convenient installation in both concrete and plasterboard ceilings or walls.
What to Consider When Choosing?
- Required Airflow: Evaluate the amount of air that will be supplied or extracted through a specific diffuser. For higher airflows, choose boxes with more connection spigots (e.g., x3).
- Number of Connecting Ducts: Select a box with the required number of connections (x2 or x3) that matches your ventilation project.
- Installation Location: Take the installation height into account. For example, the LDL-P series boxes have a low installation height (only 95 mm without the diffuser pipe), which is particularly relevant for low ceilings.
