Product Description
The AKU-COMP A is a flexible insulated noise silencer with flanges, specifically designed for effective noise reduction in ventilation systems, especially where higher fire safety requirements are in place. It is used as a connection between the ventilation unit and the ductwork, providing excellent sound absorption in the lower octave bands. The AKU-COMP A is suitable for air pressures ranging from 0 to 1000 Pa and features a durable, armoured aluminium film cover, complying with Fire Class A1.
Key Features:
- Application: Sound attenuation in ventilation systems, connecting ventilation units to ductwork, particularly in installations with higher fire safety requirements.
- Construction: Made of a flexible, perforated "Compact" duct (0.12 mm thick).
- Insulation: Encased in a mineral wool blanket, 25 mm or 50 mm thick.
- Outer Cover (Type A): Features a durable, armoured aluminium film cover. Complies with the demands for non-combustible material (Euro class A1, according to EN 13501-1).
- Installation: Fitted with metal sleeves at both ends, which facilitate easy installation and ensure a strong and tight connection to the ducts.
- Optimal Performance: For the best possible sound absorption effect, it is recommended that the silencer is extended to its full length during installation.
- Flexibility: The silencer is flexible and compressible, which aids in transportation and installation in confined spaces.
