The RECOM ST/SET EPP EC series of air handling units are modern, fully featured solutions designed for efficient air filtration, fresh air supply, and stale air extraction with exceptionally high heat recovery. These units, boasting up to 91% heat recovery efficiency (ST models) or up to 84% energy recovery efficiency (SET models), are an ideal choice for energy-efficient ventilation in small apartments or other compact spaces. The compact design and versatile mounting options (suspended ceiling, wall, or floor) allow for easy integration of the unit in various environments. Airflow up to 181 m³/h.

Key Features:

• Innovative EPP Casing: The casing is made of expanded polypropylene (EPP), which possesses excellent heat and sound-insulating properties and is lightweight. Insulation thickness is 25 mm.
• Choice of Heat Exchangers:
  • RECOM 2 ST EPP EC: Equipped with a counter-flow polystyrene heat exchanger, ensuring up to 91% heat recovery efficiency. Energy efficiency class A+.
  • RECOM 2 SET EPP EC: Equipped with an enthalpy heat exchanger, which not only recovers heat (up to 84% efficiency) but also transfers moisture, maintaining an optimal indoor microclimate. Energy efficiency class A.
• Efficient EC Fans: Uses electronically commutated motors with an external rotor and forward-curved blades, ensuring quiet and efficient operation.
• Filtration: Two built-in Coarse >60% (G4) filters provide efficient air filtration. An optional ePM1 60% (F7) supply filter can be installed.
• Bypass (Air Diversion): The units are equipped with a bypass for summer cooling, allowing direct supply of outdoor air, bypassing the heat exchanger.
• Integrated Automation and Control:
  • RECOM A14 controller: Integrated control system with an FP wall-mounted control panel with LED indication.
  • RECOM A21 controller (optional): More advanced automation with the ability to integrate the unit into a Smart Home system or BMS. Control via Wi-Fi using the Blauberg Home smartphone app.
• Frost Protection: Freeze protection is implemented by shutting down the supply fan. For units with the A21 control system, an optional duct pre-heater is available.
• Universal Mounting: Designed for suspended ceiling, wall, or floor mounting. The mounting position must provide service access for maintenance and repair.
