The RECOM ST/SET EPP EC series of air handling units are advanced, fully featured solutions designed for efficient air filtration, fresh air supply, and stale air extraction with exceptionally high heat recovery. These units, boasting up to 91% heat recovery efficiency (ST models) or up to 81% energy recovery efficiency (SET models), are an excellent choice for energy-efficient ventilation in medium-sized apartments or other similarly sized premises. The compact design and versatile mounting options (suspended ceiling, wall, or floor) allow for easy integration of the unit in various environments. Airflow up to 310 m³/h.

Key Features:

  • Innovative and Lightweight EPP Casing: The casing is made of expanded polypropylene (EPP), which not only provides excellent heat and sound-insulating properties but is also extremely lightweight. Insulation thickness is 25 mm.
  • Heat Exchanger Types for Efficient Energy Recovery:
    • RECOM 3 ST EPP EC: Equipped with a counter-flow polystyrene heat exchanger, achieving up to 91% heat recovery efficiency. Energy efficiency class A.
    • RECOM 3 SET EPP EC: Equipped with an enthalpy heat exchanger. This heat exchanger not only efficiently recovers heat (up to 81% efficiency) but also transfers moisture, helping to maintain an optimal and comfortable indoor microclimate. Energy efficiency class A.
  • High-Performance EC Fans: Uses modern electronically commutated motors with an external rotor and forward-curved blades, guaranteeing quiet, efficient, and economical operation.
  • Quality Air Filtration: Two built-in Coarse >60% (G4) filters ensure efficient filtration of both supply and extract air. An optional ePM1 60% (F7) supply filter can be installed.
  • Bypass for Summer Cooling: All models feature an integrated bypass function, which allows cool outdoor air to be supplied directly to the premises in summer, bypassing the heat exchanger.
  • Flexible Automation and Control:
    • RECOM A14 controller: Standard integrated control system with an FP wall-mounted control panel with LED indication.
    • RECOM A21 controller (optional): Offers broader control capabilities, including integration into Smart Home or Building Management Systems (BMS). Control via Wi-Fi using the Blauberg Home smartphone app.
  • Reliable Frost Protection: Frost protection for the heat exchanger is implemented by automatically shutting down the supply fan. Models with the A21 controller have the option to connect an additional duct pre-heater.
  • Versatile Mounting Options: The unit is designed for installation in suspended ceilings, on walls, or on the floor, ensuring easy access for maintenance.
