The RECOM S/SE EC series of air handling units are designed as reliable and high-performance ventilation solutions, ensuring high indoor air quality and efficient heat recovery. These modern aggregates not only meticulously filter air but also provide a continuous supply of fresh air to the premises and effective removal of stale air. The RECOM 4S EC model utilizes a polystyrene counterflow heat exchanger, allowing it to achieve up to 92% heat recovery efficiency, thereby significantly reducing heating costs. Advanced EC fans ensure energy savings, quiet operation, and long-lasting performance. This unit is an excellent choice for ventilating medium-sized private homes and apartments, connecting to Ø160 mm diameter ducts, and boasts a high A+ energy efficiency class.

Key Features:

• Quality Casing and Vertical Installation: Made of high-quality steel with a durable polymer coating. Internally lined with a standard 40 mm thick layer of mineral wool, ensuring optimal heat and sound insulation. Designed for vertical installation.
• Efficient Counterflow Heat Exchanger: The RECOM 4S EC model integrates a polystyrene counterflow heat exchanger. In the cold season, it efficiently transfers heat from the extract air to the incoming fresh air, thus minimizing heat loss. Any condensate formed is neatly collected and drained. In summer, the system helps to cool the incoming air. Efficiency: 85% to 92%.
• Advanced EC Fans: Utilizes highly efficient, electronically commutated (EC) motors with an external rotor and backward-curved blades. They ensure high performance (up to 90% efficiency) and allow for precise control of airflows across the entire speed range, operating quietly.
• Thorough Filtration: Supply air cleanliness is ensured by G4 and F7 class panel filters. Air extracted from the premises is also filtered by a G4 class filter.
• Automatic Bypass (Air Diversion): The unit integrates an air bypass function with a motorized damper, allowing for ventilation with cool outdoor air in summer, bypassing the heat exchanger, thus ensuring comfort on hot days.
• Smart Automation Capabilities: A wireless communication automation system is standard, providing the ability to control the unit remotely via Wi-Fi using the RECOM AHU mobile application (control panel purchased separately).
• Reliable Frost Protection: The system is protected against potential heat exchanger freezing by automatically stopping the supply air fan. A preheater can be connected for additional protection.
