We consume approximately 1 kg of solid food/day and drink approximately 3 liters of liquids/day. If you compare this to the fact that we breathe about 30 kg of air/day it is actually surprising how little we think about that. Most of us are very particular about the food and beverages we consume while the air we breathe do not get the same type of attention. Of the 30 kg of air that we breathe daily, 27 kg comes from indoor air (we are spending approximately 90% of our time indoors), and for that reason a good indoor climate is important for our wellbeing.
